When was the last time you seen one of these then? Cavalier 4x4 Turbo. This car hasnt been used much in the last number of years. We are selling it on behalf of a customer who took it as a trade in. Its a genuine car which starts runs and drives but will need work to get it back to its former glory. Bear in mind really nice ones of these, if you can find one, are now over 20k and climbing. We have the V5 and a huge folder full of receipts from quite a while ago. It used to have the reg J2 GBR on it. There is also a mileage discrepancy on the mot history.
Body - 4x4 Cavalier. underneath looks fairly original and solid. Few dents on jacking points. On small section on passenger front floor pan will need attention. Has a few rust bubbling on top edge of both front and rear screens. A bit on nsr rear arch where it meets the door.. Paintwork is perfectly useable but if you wanted a show car youd need to paint it. Few minor dings and storage scratches on it but overall its presentable.
Mechanics - Engine starts and runs but will need a good service and timing belt as a minimum. Brakes, clutch and gearbox felt ok on short test drive. Last MOtd 2021 so will need a good check over mechanically. Fuel leak at fuel pipes, which we will look at, but may end up needing fuel pipes.b Aftermarket boost hoses etc underbonnet. Few power graphs in history folder showing just under 220 bhp. Car appears to have been lowered as well from standard.
Interior - Good door cards, headlining. Full leather seats with no rips or tears. Aftermarket yellow lockwood dials. Needs a bit of a deep clean but everything appears reusable.
Wheels - Aftermarket wheels. Im not sure what they are but im told they were a desirable upgrade back in the day. We do not have the originals.
You could get this car back on the road with minimal work but the reality is the car deserves a full resto as its so rare and probably put back to standard spec. This is the first one of these ive had in 15 years. Very rare beast indeed.
You are welcome to come and see the car. We have a ramp so you can look underneath. Delivery can be arranged if required. Please ask for a quote.
